Ali Ahmed was born in Iraq and moved to the United States in 2009. He is currently in his senior year, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. Ali is passionate about exploring the world and sharing knowledge, with interests in mathematics, movies, and fitness. He has two adopted cats that bring joy to his life. His long-term goal is to pursue a career in anesthesiology, helping people through major surgeries.
Becca Clarke is a 3rd year honors psychology student who has focused her studies in both the social and developmental areas. As well as being involved in this lab, she is also currently working towards an applied positive psychology certification at the university. She is also employed at the McClusky Center for Violence Prevention on campus, and has a passion for pursuing justice and primary prevention for college students through education and research. In her free time she loves to ski, surf, and sport in the great outdoors!
My name is Konner Larsen, and I'm originally from Ogden, Utah. This is my third year at the U, and I am majoring in honors psychology and criminology. My goal is to eventually go into law enforcement in criminal mind psychology. Other things I enjoy doing are basketball, camping, and hanging out with friends.
My name is Helena Nurre and I am a third year student at the University of Utah, but I grew up in Reno, Nevada. I am majoring in Criminology, Sociology and Psychology. My goal is to go to attend law school after college and pursue a career as an attorney. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing tennis, skiing, reading historical fiction novels and watching true crime documentaries. I have always been interested in why people think and act the way that they do, which led me to choose those three majors in the social and behavioral sciences.
Becca Whitaker is a second-year undergraduate at the University of Utah majoring in Psychology and Sociology with a certificate in Quantitative Research Analytics in the Social Sciences. She hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and is especially interested in how social psychological factors affect educational outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and mountain biking.
