Kate Kranz: I am a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Business and Philosophy. In addition to being a RA for the SCIP Lab, I volunteer my time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Utah courts.  As a CASA, my responsibilities are to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children under the child welfare system through reporting to their Guardian ad Litem, who represents them in court. I decided to major in Psychology as it is most applicable and scalable to all my interests, as the knowledge it provides me becomes useful in marketing, fitness, education, and reforming social justice.
